Deadpool commission

In June of 2022 I was commissioned by a client from Spain to draw “Deadpool” described as a “Merc with a mouth with regenerative powers and prowess.” The client wanted the “Tony Moore Deadpool.” I knew nothing about the character so came up with this design and gag.
Álvaro Martínez Otero is the name of the client, and though he saw and approved of the final art, he didn’t live to receive it, and passed away while I was trying to get it to him. His family was devastated by his death and the debts they had incurred during his illness. Álvaro paid me US$600 for the commission. I am reselling it here with the intent of sending the proceeds directly to his family in Spain. I can’t conduct an impromptu auction through my online store, so if the first person having interest in owning this piece was to add more to the $600 asking price, it would go a long way.
